DNS protection, not a general VPN
LightDoh uses Android’s local VPN interface only to handle DNS queries. It does not tunnel, inspect, or modify general web and app traffic.
Sends DNS requests through encrypted HTTPS services during normal operation.
Offers a tile and visible foreground control for starting and stopping protection.
No AlbSoft account, advertising SDK, or subscription is required.
Other network traffic stays outside the local VPN path.
A disclosed emergency fallback
When encrypted services cannot answer, LightDoh can fall back to unencrypted UDP DNS so resolution continues. That fallback does not provide encrypted-DNS privacy.
Necessary transient processing
DNS queries necessarily leave your device to be resolved. LightDoh does not intentionally store or sell DNS queries, browsing history, device identifiers, or personal information. Read the full policy.
